The Elegance, doing battle throughout the evening Monday, realized he did not get the opportunity to thank his many fans who showed him support through his sickness and ultimately, his final table clinching win in San Antarlington.

"I could just feel the crowd willing me to victory," The Elegance said. "It was like playing a playoff game in your own backyard. It just felt like with the support I was getting, there was no way I could lose. I can't thank them enough."
