First Gretzky...Now The Elegance
When will the New JERSEY authorities learn you cannot attack a legend? I didn't realize there was a stoolie at the table.
It's amazing how only part of the story gets relayed when you deal with sources so close to you. I guess leaving out that the answer "Because I'm always kicking their ass." was in direct response to some jealous regulars openly rooting against the legend that is The Elegance. "Why are they against you?"
You want to be as good. It's understandable. But your jealousy is shining through here as well. You want to call me out personally. That's fine, too. But just don't carry it to the table with you. That could be detrimental to your Omni hopes. You might run into a full house after you've pushed all your chips in with trips.
And we certainly differ in our opinions of what makes a player great in any competition. Greatness has to be achieved over time. And if you look at the record books you so gladly point out, you'll notice one name far outdoes the rest. That name? Yes. The Elegance.
"To cure jealously is to see it for what it is. Dissatisfaction with self."
And The Elegance will sign off for now with one more parting thought.
"Great work is done by people who are not afraid to be great."
